Ilsa Hampton



Ms Hampton joined Meaningful Ageing Australia (formerly PASCOP) as CEO in March 2016. She has extensive experience in the strategic integration of pastoral and spiritual care in aged care; and leading projects with multiple partners.

Prior to joining Meaningful Ageing Australia as CEO, Ms Hampton served on the board from its inauguration in 2013; and on the board of Spiritual Care Australia from 2010-2011. She came from Baptcare Victoria where she worked for the last eight years holding a number of senior roles with her most recent being Manager – Pastoral Care. Ms Hampton designed and implemented strategic program changes to increase consistency, quality assurance, integration in teams and access by clients including an innovative pastoral care volunteer model now in use in other locations around Australia. During this time she held various sector positions such as Chair of the multi-faith Diploma of Pastoral Care and Ageing Committee, and Chair of Spiritual Health Victoria’s Aged Care Advisory Group. Previously she has worked for AMES, John Paver Centre and Melbourne City Mission.

Ms Hampton is a strong strategic leader, clear and creative communicator as well as being collaborative and a positive innovator. Ilsa has extensive experience presenting at conferences and forums Australia-wide. She lives in a three-generation household in Melbourne’s north.
